Aqua Blue Vintage Kitchen Island

I've just redone my kitchen island. I ADORED the decor I have had on it for Spring with the nests and baby blue tones, and it was hard to take it all down...BUT, I needed a change and some more color to go with the season! (if you'd like to see the Spring display, click here)

I decided to go with a "Vintage Kitchen" Theme this time around. It really reminds me of my grandma! Most everything I used in this design I found thrifting, with a few exceptions of items that I inherited from my grandma.

The aqua blue rimmed floral plates are some that I found years ago and fell in love with. I used them in our Wedding Engagement photo shoot 2 years ago...and they were the basis for the design as I put together this vignette.

Descriptions of everything else coming soon...but for a preview...the flower vase below started out life as a Pickle Jar...and I have a great tip for getting the stickers off before you paint the outside...

Stay tuned!!

Thank you! I'm glad you commented, because it made me realize that I haven't gone back through and edited each photo with descriptions! It's hard to believe I'm only a couple months away from putting all this back out. Only now I have some new additions...I hope I can fit it all ;)
