Flower Fairy Hidden Garden

I LOVE the changing of seasons. It's one of the reasons I love living here in the gorgeous state of Utah.

Due to my creative personality, I ALWAYS get a burst of creative energy when the seasons start to change (with maybe the exception of going into summer, because I don't love heat). I just feel the need to make STUFF and create vignettes, and cook and CREATE.

(Sadly, I don't really feel the need to clean...haha).

Anyway, this is what I made today! (I'm on a serious creating binge right now and this is the first thing I've finished....I have about 15 floral and decor projects in mind...not kidding).

  A Flower Fairy Secret Garden!

Keep reading to learn how I created this!

I took apart a total of 4 different arrangements, etc. (ALL from Thrifting--YAY!!), and added them to a pedestal urn that wasn't currently being used. I also included as the centerpiece the cutest little Yellow Flower Fairy that was a gift years ago from my best friend (she brought it home for me from a trip to Germany), some rocks from my garden, and some reindeer moss.

When I found those little yellow polka dot mushrooms, I knew I needed to create something with the fairy. I found the twig and ivy dome last week...it was in an arrangement with some sad dusty looking faux fruit (after a cleaning, they might end up somewhere else too). I knew as soon as I saw it that it needed to be with my fairy and mushrooms.

I hope you're inspired to create your own Fairy Garden! I've done many outside over the years, but I often forget to photograph them. But never fear, I have more indoor ones planned in this round of Creative Energy, so I promise there WILL be another one (or maybe even two!!)
